I Thought I Hit The Lottery
Saturday morning at around 2am I gained about 2,500 new followers on Twitter, more than doubling my posse. I felt like Oprah.
Then around 3am I went back down to about 1,800 followers and I felt like the sad assed lotto winner who loses his ticket on the way to the store.
I knew it was a mistake, but it still hurt. Now I’m much more aware, at any moment, my followers number can head south and I’ll end up with one follower - probably my mother.
