David Lynch gives us the weather and his word that @David_Lynch is in fact his Twitter handle.
I was hacked at about 12:18pm today 5/30.
The Tweet wrote ‘Best Video’ and linked to a video that I unbelievably clicked on.
Usually I am a paranoid freak about viruses but because it sounded similar to a Tweet I auto-posted earlier, I didn’t even thinking about hacking!
Within a split-second I clicked off - the situation dawning on me! - closed program and deleted Tweet.
My machine seems to be fine. I ran a scan - ok. Then I alerted Twitter and asked if I should do anything else; still waiting to hear back.

Twitterers came up with enough reasons to unfollow @iamDiddy last night to drive #unFollowIamDiddy into the top ten trending topics.
Here are some:
#unfollowiamdiddy because his music blows.
#unfollowiamdiddy because he made J-Lo hold the gun.
I wrote these two, slightly less personal ones:
#unfollowiamdiddy because I was at my friends house today and her cat gave me allergies.
#unfollowiamdiddy because this new conditioner I bought sucks.
Tonight, this particular trend has died down, but don’t worry, another, funnier one will be arriving any second.
A Twitter Chat Room
Just start a room and invite friends to join using room name preceded by @ symbol.
Now we can chat with our friends without annoying everyone else in the stream.
Even though this blog is supposed to be about Twitter, I kind of think of Friendfeed as Twitter’s somewhat intellectual cousin, so, you know, it relates.
There’s a much less obvious use of Friendfeed, and one I find invaluable, and that’s the ability to check out a user’s entire social geography, from one place, and connect if you choose.

Yeah, I guess I’m kinda sad they finally shut Twitter down. To be honest it was becoming a real drain, anyway.
Between all the celebrity crap, the trying out of new apps, and the comparing of desktop platforms, huge amounts of quality time were being sucked right out of my life.
So the truth is Twitter did me a big favor by shutting down. They gave me my family back. They gave me my life back.

The idea of creating a branded Twitter background didn’t fly with me. I am not comfortable with aggressive self-promotion; I like to have my career unfold on its own merits.
It’s probably business dumb, but that’s how it is - today.
I realize some basic promotion is necessary, though, especially letting people know how to get in touch, so I finally created a background using Twitbacks (thanks Twitbacks).
I didn’t like it at all, it looked so, I don’t know, that way that I hate, but it served it’s purpose and after a few days got me thinking, “why not just use Twitbacks as a size template, design and upload my own”? Love it.
I hope I always take chances and do things I don’t want, like the first background, so that I am in a position where I can do it my own way, like the second.
